Retreat Opportunities for Teens
The Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana, in conjuntion with local parishes, sponsors a variety of faith formation retreats for teenagers.
J-Fest is an annual weekend prayer festival retreat for high school youth that is centered around Jesus Christ. Youth from the Diocese of Lafayette and beyond are invited to come together and experience the grace of God’s love through fellowship and prayer. It is an exciting weekend for both youth and their youth ministers. The atmosphere is filled with lively music, energetic speakers, dynamic skits, and lots of time for personal and group interaction.
Two highlights of the weekend are celebrating the Sacrament of Reconciliation and Eucharistic Adoration. Many have left J-Fest with a deeper or renewed relationship with Jesus Christ.
If the youth in your parish are beginning their faith walk with Christ, needing strength to continue the journey, or are just ready to rejoice in the many blessings HE has given them, then this is the weekend they are looking for!
DJ (Destination Jesus) occurs every spring and is held at St. Theodore Guerin High School in Noblesville, IN.
