RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) or RCIC (Rite of Christian Initiation of Children) is the Catholic Church’s way of welcoming and instructing individuals who desire to become members of the Catholic Church.
RCIA is open to any non-Catholic who wants to learn more about the Catholic faith, or for those baptized Catholic who have not received First Holy Communion and/or Confirmation. RCIA is a process of instruction, reflection, and prayerful discernment. All are welcome to attend the initial "Inquiry Sessions" without a formal commitment.
RCIA/RCIC begins each fall with sessions for open questions and conversation. Formal classes occur weekly on Sundays with prayer, instruction, scripture, and community. Those who complete the required classes and discern that God is calling them to His Church join on the Easter Vigil of that year.
Contact our parish office for more information or to sign up.
Have a question about the Catholic faith and searching for a community? Both Catholics and non-Catholics are invited to learn more about the Catholic faith in a safe, conversation-centered environment. Meetings are held on every second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m in the church library.
