The Franciscan Friars of the Renewal will be gifting us with our Annual Parish Mission October 29th through October 31st. Each night beginning at 6:30pm, the Friars will give a presentation on the Year of Faith in the worship space at St. Francis and then follow with Eucharistic Adoration (Monday), Penance Service (Tuesday) and the All Saints Vigil Mass (Wednesday). Join with other parishioners in small groups to learn how to encourage others in their faith and to develop into a healthier and stronger Christian community. Next Sunday through Wednesday, St. Francis will be hosting 33 seminarians from Mount St. Mary's Seminary in Emmetsburg, MD. The seminarians come as a part of a mission trip focusing on Evangelization, reaching out to Catholics and non-Catholics alike on Ball State's campus, and inviting them to learn more about Christ and His Church. While most of their time will be spent out on campus with students, they have invited St. Francis parishioners to pray with them and for BSU students at the following events: Sunday, Oct 7 -8pm Mass followed by the Upper Room Holy Hour and Confessions Monday, Oct 8 -5:15 Mass followed by a Eucharistic Procession on Ball State's Campus. Please keep the seminarians in your prayers this week, as they work to bring the light of Christ to the students of Ball State!
